As D’Alambert System, Oscar Grind System is developed for the Roulette, that’s why here such a term as “unity” exists i.e. the size of your initial bet and at the same time the step, at which the size of your bet will be increased. At Roulette it can be a chips or any sum, chosen by you, coming out of your financial possibilities and your playing bank.
The essence of this system can be explained by several rules and you should adhere to them:
1) your net profit should not exceed your 1 “unity” at the end of each session. And if you can make a less bet that it is recommended, coming out of other rules, then the bet should be reduced till the size of minimal possible net profit.
2) The initial bet is 1 “unity”
3) The next bet is equal to the previous one after the loss
4) After the winning the size of your bet should be increased by 1 unity. To make this system clear you can see the example for the ratio that is equal to 2 in the table below.

Here we see that the player starts with a loss so his second stake remains at one unit.
Attention: this system is a progressive strategy of the financial management i.e. the increase of the bet doesn’t happen depending on your confidence in bet or on the ratio, but it happens depending on your previous bets. But you should keep in mind that while using progressive strategies, you take risk of being bankrupt.
